By adopting the newest IGRF12 to calculate 156 surface measuring data over Chinese mainland from 2000.0 to 2010.0, combine with 156 CHAMP satellite vector data,we have created a three dimensional (3D)Taylor polynomial model after adding altitude term. Moreover, 39 complementary points were added to modeling to prevent boundary effect. In order to verify 3D model, we analyzed the selection of truncation level(TL), residual, distribution based on measuring points and that at different altitudes. Results show that the residual of 3D model is better than 2D model and IGRF12.In view of distributions, which of 3D model and measuring points are highly consistent and implies 3D model can truly reflect the real geomagnetic field.Due to the altitude of each point were considered, so that a better fitting from 3D model at surface and satellite orbit can be achieved. After comparing Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) and distributions, results imply 3D model that TL is 3 can get an ideally fitting, and has a similar precision with 2D model that TL=6.
