Objectives: A salient feature of chronic β3-adrenergic agonist activation is pronounced remodeling of white adipose tissue (WAT), which includes the transformation of the lipid vacuole from unilocular into multiocular appearance and mitochondrial biogenesis with resulting elevation in whole body metabolic rate.
