Objective:To investigate the association of Clerostin domaincontaining protein 1(SOSTDC1) gene polymorphisms and peak bone mineral density (BMD)in Chinese women and men.Methods:We performed to genotype six tagging-SNPs in SOSTDC1 by TaqMan,and further test whether SNPs were associated with peak BMD variation at the spine and femoral neck in 401 Chinese female nuclear families and 400 Chinese male nuclear families using quantitative transmissing disequilibrium test (QTDT),respectively.
