Aspcrgillosis is the most common infection caused by Aspergillus sp.which leads to higher mortality in immunocompromised patients.Though current treatments are effective the incidence of emergence of resistance strains to commercially available drugs in aspergillosis patients are quite high.Hence search for newer drugs are essential from natural resources to overcome the resistance strains.Marine actinobacteria are promising new source for potential antibiotics. The halophilic actinomycetes are considered io be a potential source for novel bioactive compounds.
