  Noninvasive biomarkers with diagnostic value and prognostic applications have long been desired to replace muscle biopsy for muscle damage.Recently,it has been shown that miRNAs circulate extracellularly in the bloodstream and that such circulating miRNAs change in response to physical activity.Therefore,the purpose of our study was to investigate muscle-specific miRNAs in plasma before,directly after,and 24 h after a 30 min run with low,middle and high speed,and to analyze their relation to conventional biochemical,cardiovascular,and performance indexes.
