Capillary isoelectricfocusing is an important method for the characterization of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies.Comparing with other methods such as CE-SDS and CZE,signal to noise ratio and baseline of CIEF are not so good.Commercially available carrier amphorlyte have some absorbance at 280 nm and will form some highly reproducible peaks after forming the PH gradient.
