Based on practice project approach on field teaching of students majoring in digital machine tool in a higher vocational college, this research promotes outlines and measures in practice of "project process pedagogy", which presents a new pedagogical idea, a new teaching method and a new teaching model for students field teaching of higher vocational colleges, shows importance of teaching in process.This research shows that the application of"project process pedagogy" provides a proper learning environment for students, further students active study, outlines characteristics of higher vocational education and provides an innovative and model function for higher vocational education in China.
