Fabrication of micrometer-size hydrogels is an essential technique for constructing functional biomicroarray, biosensors, and cell cultivation platforms.Here we demonstrated a new method for patterning various types of hydrogels on PDMS substrates or in PDMS microchannels, by utilizing the locally hydrophilized surface.
