  Boron dipyrromethene(BODIPY)dyes have attracted considerable research attention due to their unique optical property and comprehensive application.[1-2] Although BODIPYs are strong emissive in solution,they are almost nonemissive in the solid state,however,owing to the small Stokes shifts,symmetric and planar structure,which lead to intense intermolecular π-π and self-absorption.[3] For this reason,new types of asymmetrical BF2 complexes have been developed,some of which have shown moderate emission in solid state.
