α-Diiminonickel(Ⅱ) complex pre-catalysts developed by Brookhart group have been widely studied in ethylene polymerization [1].Recently our group have introduced the dibenzhydryl-substituted anilines for the modified imino-compounds and their nickel complexes bearing unsymmetrical α-diimine ligands from acenaphthylene-1,2-dione showed high activities in ethylene polymerization [2], producing branched polyethylenes with narrow polydispersity [2].
