Biohydrogen is considered as the fuel of the future by virtue of the fact that it is carbon neutral renewable energy source having highest energy content per unit mass of any known fuel (143 GJ t-1).In addition,on combustion it gives water as the only byproduct.Biological hydrogen production processes are environment friendly and moreover it is renewable.
