Cu2O nanoparticles were synthesized from the anodic dissolution method using gaseous plasma as the cathode electrode.The electrolyte was an aqueous solution of NaCI,and a Cu plate immersed in the solution acted as the anode.Because of the anodic dissolution reaction,Cu ions were liberated into the solution from the Cu electrode.Cu2O nanoparticles were formed in the solution by the reactions between Cu ions and the reactive species generated by plasma-liquid interactions.
