The grey correlation degree analysis of the influence factors on control rod dropping in Lead-Bismut

  The work presented in this paper focuses on the assess of the role of liquid velocity,control rods weight,mechanical friction,temperature and composition of Lead-Bismuth Eutectic(LBE)in control rod drop.The rod dropping characteristics in LBE has been analyzed by comparing the rod drop velocity under different conditions,and the Dynamic Grey Correlation Model reflecting the positive and negative correlations of sequences is applied to calculate the relevant influence factors on the rod drop in LBE coolant.In the range of selected parameters,it is indicated that the flow rate and mechanical friction in LBE coolant are negatively correlated with the dropping velocity,while the rod weight,temperature and bismuth content of LBE are positively correlated with the dropping velocity.Within a certain range,the influence on the dropping velocity of the parameters is decreasing as follows: the rod weight,mechanical friction,flow rate,temperature and bismuth content,meanwhile,the grey correlation degree of weight and mechanical friction has been proved to be almost identical.
