In the past decades, magnetic materials have been extensively used in various technological applications such as in electronics, drug-targeting,NMR imaging, and environmental protection1,2.In this paper, the monodisperse Fe3O4 nanoparticles were synthesized in glycol medium through a solvent thermal method.The structures, morphologies, surface properties, and magnetism of the products were characterized by Powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), Field emission scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM).
