  It is attractive to utilize glycerol,a by-product of bio-diesel production,as a starting material for hydrogen production,since it allows for a carbon neutral process enabling hydrogen economy.A sorption enhanced reforming process reduces the concentrations of carbon-containing species in the reformate of glycerol by fixing CO2 in adsorbents.
