Since several years,the number of new biological approaches and applications of microfluidic techniques increases permanently.Thus,the cultivation of different organisms,including subsequent toxicity measurements [1],motility evaluations [2],and quorum sensing measurements [3] are now routinely performed on microfluidic platforms.In this work,a dynamic cultivation method is presented,which aim was the development of a kinetic toxicity measurement system [4],resulting in a metabolic activity assessment of different indicator organisms.
