This paper considers the lighting surge interference problem,which is a challenge in electronic communication equipments,and performed a series of experiments with common electronic communication devices to analyze the failure situations.The experiments was performed under different test situations to pursue the principle of lighting surge failure and locate the failures,thus deduce the approaches in which lighting surge damage the equipments.The result is of significant importance in improving the performance of lighting surge protection circuit and promoting the lighting surge protection level.
