Objective: To study the effect of Ilex asprella extract suppression the generation and exudation of imflammatory mediator,the regulation of cytokines to lung injury mice induce by H1N1 influenza virus FM1 strain.Methods: Mice were intranasally instillation by ten median lethal dose (LD50).The lung index,lung wet/dry weight ratio,virus replication ratio in lung tissue,leukocytosis,lymphocyte,neutrophil,monocyte macrophage were count in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid,anti-inflammatory and pro-inflammatory cytokines in serum,arterial blood gas analysis were observed in influenza infected mice in day 6.Results: Ilex asprella extract can significantly reduce lung index,lung wet/dry weight ratio,virus replication ratio in lung tissue of influenza virus infected mice;regulation the Balance of anti-inflammatory and pro-inflammatory cytokines in serum,elevated arterial oxygen content,oxygen saturation,reduce carbon dioxide partial pressure.Conclusions: Ilex asprella extract possess anti-inflammatory and immunoregulation to Acute Lung Injury by conditioning inflammatory cells migration,adjust cytokine network lung injury in influenza virus infected mice.
