  Carbon nanotubes(CNTs)have attracted considerable attention because of its unique physical and chemical properties.Nevertheless,during the growth process of CNTs,it suffers from various types of topological defect in the atomic structure,including vacancies,Stone-Wales defects,and pentagonal-octagon,which influence the mechanical properties and change the electronic properties of CNTs.
