Purpose Use incoherent incoherent motion (IVIM) techniqueto investigate the cerebral infarction Method and Materials 100cases of cerebral infarction in patients with clinically identified underwent diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) witheight b-values(0-800 s/mm2)n GE1.5T HDXT machine.slice thickness 4mm,layer from 1mm.IVIM scanning software processing after IVIM imaging,measuring slow,fast ADC,and no lesion signal area surrounding normal brain tissue contrast display Results The standard ADC,slow ADC,fast ADC and fraction of fast ADC of cerebral infarction group were(1.5±0.26)×10-3mm2/s,(1.7±0.33)×10-3 mm2/s,(1.7±0.50) ×10-2 mm2/s,3.6 ±0.04,whereas in the normal cerebral group were (1.14±0.15) × 10-3 mm2/s,(1.12 ± 0.16) × 10-3 mm2/s,(1.13 ± 0.16) × 10-2mm2/s and 36.4 ± 0.06,respectively.The inter-group differences of standard ADC,slow ADC and fast ADC were statistically significant(p<0.05) Nevertheless,no statistical difference was observed for fraction of fast ADC between the two groups.they has a significant difference Conclusion IVIM parameters can reflect diffusion and perfusion of cerebral infarction,which may provide information for the identification of infarction lesions.Clinical relevance/Application IVIM can be performed to assess the diffusion and perfusion information to characterize cerebral infarction.
