　　The normal form theory is one of the basic tools for the analysis of nonlinear systems.It transforms the nonlinear dynamical system to its simpler form.In this paper,the normal form theory is applied to investigate the stability and bifurcation behavior around the equilibrium of a laminated composite piezoelectric rectangular plate.
