Aim uncover the possible immune response to HBV naked core particle in hydrodynamic injection mice model.Methods Plasmids expressing wild type of HBV core protein (HBcWT), or HBcK96R mutation which abolished naked capsid secretion, or an assembly-deficient HBV mutant, HBcY132A, were transfected into HepG2, Huh7, and L02.Intracellular location of HBc proteins were observed by confocal.Plasmids of HBcWT, HBcK96R, or HBcY132A were hydrodynamically injected into tail vein of Balb/c mice.
