Based on nonlinear thermodynamic theory,the a1,c2 and r2 phases with the negative P3 component are introduced to describe the electric-generated phase transition of Ba0.5Sr0.5 TiO3 (BSTS0) thin film,and the misfit strain-electric field phase diagrams and the electric field-polar-ization components curves under different temperatures are simulated for the single-domain state of a single grain of BST50 thin film grown on the cubic substrate.
