  Our study focused on the leaf shape spatiotemporal change rule of 128 Populus euphratica individuals with different diameters under the same ecological conditions using statistical methods.The results showed that the leaf index became smaller as the diameter increased in Populus euphratica individuals,and was gradually reduced as the canopy level increased.
