Circulating tumor cells (CTC) are rare cancer cells detached from solid tumors and circulated in peripheral blood.They provided an easy access to solid tumors which can be used for treatment monitoring and tumor molecular analysis.Regarded as "chemical antibody", aptamers have several advantages over commonly used antibody in CTC detections.Aptamers could be used to target specific tumor cells with unknown biomarkers.
