α-Glucosidase (AG) plays crucial roles in the digestion of carbohydrates.α-glucosidase inhibitors (AGIs) have received significant attentions as potent therapeutic drugs for diabetic complications.Based on combination principles, two series of apigenin nitric oxide (NO)-donating derivatives were synthesised and evaluated for their AG inhibitory activity and NO releasing capacity in vitro.
