Purpose: The best treatment to radial head fractures in adults is still controversial.The purpose of this study was to research the efficacy of poly-D,L-lactic acid biodegradable pins for the treatment of Mason type 2 to 3 radial head fractures.Methods: Between July 2000 and December 2008, 17 consecu tive patients with Mason type two or type three radial head fractures were treated by open reduction and in ternal fixation of absorbable pins(DIKFIX?, China).
