There has been growing interest in the studies of the relationship between integrable systems(including full discrete,semi-discrete,continuous systems)and orthogonal polynomials because orthogonal polynomials provide a powerful tool for studying integrable systems.We shall give some examples about the connections that we are concerned about.And also,some of our recent work will be presented.
