TiO2 is most promising photocatalyst for degradation of organics under environmentally benign conditions.This reviews our efforts for designing TiO2 hybrid photocatalysts with the objective of fabricating efficient photo-degradation systems towards pollutants diluted in water and air.The modification of quantum dots with low-band gap modification is being proved an effective route for enhancing the photocatalytic performance of the electrode materials,such as TiO2 nanotube arrays.
