Objective: About 74％ of the territory of CISis characterized by a low incidence (up to 10.00/0000) of esophageal cancer(EC), whereas 26％ is associated with a high incidence of EC,from 11.00/0000 to 86.40/0000.Found that while reducing the incidence of esophageal cancer in CIS, some areas remain to have a high frequency of esophageal cancer, as in the republics of Central Asia and Kazakhstan.
