The prevalence of an oral lesion varies by geographic region.Until now, there is no study has been conducted regarding the prevalence of oral lesion in this region.Dental Specialist Clinic, Hospital Sibu is one of the main referral centers where it covers Sibu, Sarikei, Kapit, Daro and Mukah.Therefore, by analyzing the records ofbiopsied oral lesions in referred patients, we can evaluate the prevalence and distribution of oral lesions in this region.A hospital based crosssectional study was carried out at Dental Specialist Clinic, Hospital Sibu to review all biopsied oral lesions from year 2006 to 2011.
