Muntz定理、Benstein问题与加权复指数多项式逼近的研究进展

  经典的Muntz定理给出了多项式在有限区间上的连续函数的Banach空间中完备的充分必要条件。应用复分析的方法,我们给出了多项式在以原点为公共端点的有限条线段上的连续函数组成的Banach空间中的完备性的充要条件。作为Muntz定理的推广,我们进一步研究了复平面上从原点出发的一族射线上的连续函数组成的加权范数的Banach空间上的多项式完备性的充要条件,这是经典的关于实轴上多项式加权逼近的Bernstein问题的拓广。我们将对这些结果进行介绍。另外,我们还将介绍一般指数多项式的逼近的相关进展。
