Objectives The present study was undertaken to determine the relationship between carotid-US findings and severity of the SYNTAX score (SX score).Methods A total of 302 consecutive patients who underwent carotid-US and first coronary angiography were included.Carotid-US was used to determine the mean common carotid artery intima-media thickness (meanIMT) and the plaque score (PS).
