Aim: Molecular descriptor is context-dependent, that is, the various interpretations of a specific molecular descriptor depend on the varying biological contexts. For example, molecular dipole can stand for its binding affinity or drug membrane transport. To clearly understand the descriptor-action relationship, our aim is to elaborate systematically the relationship between molecular descriptor and subcellular drug action, herein, limited in the ligand cellular system of nuclear receptors.
