Purpose,in this study,it is intended to clarify the impression that an element constituting space gives to a person and relations with physical quantity of an element constituting space mathematically in earthen floor space.Methods,in 68 houses which were a Japanese important cultural property designation private house made a type to 13 types,12 houses which were the representative of each type were chosen.In addition,in a type without the private house which I could experiment on,one private house with the similar characteristic was added as a study.Six psychology factors were provided by a factor analysis based on quantity of 12 psychology.9 elements (pillar,beam,wall,opening,floor,ceiling,device,atmosphere,sight) were calculated by physical quantity analysis.In addition,a multiple regression analysis was performed about relations of plural physical quantity and 1 factor axis.And one kind of quantification theory analysis was carried out about relations of environmental element that I cannot express as amount and 1 factor axis.
