The demand of polyamide 6 (PA6) for engineering plastics grows rapidly, especially in China.Injection molding is the most important process used to manufacture the plastic products.Generally, PA6 resin is rejection molded to various parts in different designs associated with application purposes.Fast cycle is one of the most important requirements for the productivity of injection molding.For crystalline polymers, the cycle time for a part to be released from the mold cavity is dominated by the cooling time which is closely related to crystallization rate that can be significantly promoted by the nucleating effect.
