The knowledge which Internet can provide for direct modeling,simulation,analysis and etc.is not enough rationally used from the engineers in their education and practice.The main problem is how to make easier the relations between model,calculations,visualization and simulations in the integrated Internet environment.The adoption of new techniques and methods for modeling and representing of the mechanical engineering information over the WWW is discussed.Experimental application(Web based kinematic analysis and simulation of mechanical planar linkages),called “Assur editor” is developed and represented.The theoretical basis of the developed application is based on representation of the linkages as a combination of Assurs groups and driver links.Homogenous transformation matrices serves as mathematical foundation for formulation of kinematic equations for five types of dyads for which analytical solutions for position,velocity and acceleration variables are received.The applicability of the “Assur editor” is discussed and future work is pointed.
