我国公共图书馆的服务功能不断的完善,服务领域不断扩大。但是,针对某一弱势群体的服务,还处在单一发展上。国内许多图书馆没有针对多个弱势群体做出服务,只有少数图书馆在对某一弱势群体陆续提供服务。公共图书馆是公益性的社会文化教育机构,担负着传播先进文化、促进社会文明与进步的重大责任,宗旨就是为全体社会成员提供平等的服务,被人们称为“社会的大学”“享受终身教育的场所”。为了使每个人都获得公平的公共图书馆服务,鄂尔多斯市图书馆与时俱进,针对老年人、青少年、农民工、残障人士等多个弱势群体开辟了不同的服务。 The service functions of public libraries in our country are continuously improved and their service fields are constantly expanding. However, the service for a vulnerable group is still in a single development. Many domestic libraries do not serve many disadvantaged groups, only a handful of libraries are providing services to a vulnerable group. The public library is a nonprofit social and cultural education institution charged with the great responsibility of spreading advanced culture and promoting social civilization and progress. Its purpose is to provide equal services to all members of society and is called “the university of social science” “Place for lifelong education”. In order to make everybody obtain a fair public library service, Erdos City Library has been advancing with the times and opened up different services for many disadvantaged groups such as the elderly, teenagers, migrant workers and the handicapped.
