Objective This case-control study investigated the characteristics of markers of hypercoagulability in Chinese patients with thromboembolism with and without lupus anticoagulant (LAC),and aimed to elucidate the correlation of LAC and markers of hypercoagulability in both arterial and venous thromboembolism.Methods Chinese patients with thromboembolism with and without LAC were recruited.Levels of the following markers of hypercoagulability were measured:soluble P-selectin (sPsel),von Willebrand factor (vWF),tissue factor,coagulation factor VII,and D-dimers.
