  [Objective]The effects of different traffic roads transport vibration on quality of Hami melons (Cucumis melo var.saccharinus) during storage were studied.[Methods]Four groups of traffic roads at the speed of 61-90krn/h was simulated,including highways,arterial roads (ARs),secondary roads (SRs) and tertiary roads (TRs).The power spectral density (PSD) data of the roads on ARs,SRs,and TRs were utilized to treat melons for 5 h,10h,15h,respectively.Membrane leakage could accelerated the fruits collapse may be estimated in terms of relative electrical conductivity.The relative electrical conductivity of the vibration-treated melons and untreated melons was measured during storage.Logistic equation was used to build the model to determine the semi-lethal vibration duration,in order to determine the impact of different levels of road on cantaloupe.[Results]The results showed that at the same truck speed,the lowest PSD peaks were obtained on highways followed by ARs,SRs and TRs.And the semi-lethal vibration duration of highways,ARs,SRs and TRs were 2.60~19.09h,1.31~18.21 h,0.11~15.67h,0.01~14.66h,respectively.[Conclusion]The tendency of the relative electrical conductivity followed the Logistic equation and had a linear relationship with semi-lethal vibration duration.
