  Objective To study of mechanical properties of artery vascular contraction and stretch, analysis the significance of clinical application.Method New Zealand rabbit, n=12, Male and female both, weight 2 ± 0.3kg.Cut off the rabbit common carotid artery 30mm, Using electronic universal material testing machine to measure static load and shrinkage rate at same time measure load and displacement when blood vessels tensile extend and analysis their relationship and calculate the percentage of blood vessel elongation.
