Objective To investigate if levothyroxine (LT4) exerts any effect on the outcomes in polycystic ovary syndrome patients with subclinical hypothyroidism undergoing ovulation induction.Method We select 183 polycystic ovary syndrome patients as a research object.Patients serum TSH>2.5mIU/L were randomly divided into two groups: LT4 intervention group and non-intervention group.Control group consisted of women who were TSH ≤ 2.5mIU/L.Compared three groups to promote ovulation of total gonadotropin (Gn) dosage ,the number of Gn days, the number of dominant follicle, no dominant follicle cycle, average follicular estradiol(E2) value,mid-luteal progesterone (P) value,pregnancy and early abortion rate.Result The number of Gn days of the LT4 intervention group was significantly less than others (P<0.05).Conclusion Treatment with LT4 increased the ovulation induction therapy effect in polycystic ovary syndrome patients combined with Subclinical hypothyroidism.
