The interaction of highly charged ions and solid surface causes the emission of photons both from the neutralized incident ions and the target surfaces.The spectral lines observed in this experiment can provide information about interaction scenario of the neutralization and light emission of highly charged ions on the target surface.The experiment was performed at the 320 kV platform for multi-discipline research of highly charged ions at the Institute of Modern Physics,Chinese Academy of Sciences.The experimental conditions and the data acquisition have been described previously [1].During experimental measurements,the vacuum in the target chamber is maintained at about 2×10-8 mbar.The spectra in the wavelength range of 300-700 nm are measured,which are detected using an entrance slit of 0.5 mm and a 1000 ms dwell time for photon counting.
