The paper investigates the inverse ill-posed problem of identification of the time-dependent blood perfusion coefficient in the bio-heat equation.Instead of imposing the heat flux boundary condition as was done in previous studies, the internal measurement of the temperature is instead used. The bio-heat equation is transformed to the classical heat conduction problem and then the inverse problem is solved by applying the method of fundamental solutions(MFS)and the Tikhonov regularization for the stable identification.
