  The Helium Cooled Ceramic Breeder(HCCB)blanket that will be tested in ITER under the form of Test Blanket Modules(TBMs)located in a common equatorial port of ITER.Beryllium metal has the low melting point and high chemical reactivity at high temperature.Beryllides have good properties and are one of the candidate materials for the neutron multiplier.Basic characteristics of the beryllides pebbles are required to the design of blanket.From this point view,production methods and basic characteristics including thermal and mechanical properties of beryllides pebble should be investigated.
