溴化铅声光晶体空间生长研究进展

PbBr2晶体是一种优良的声光晶体材料,目前晶体生长问题尚未解决。由于PbBr2晶体熔点低、能耗小,常见的空间生长炉能很容易满足其生长要求,因此,它是空间生长实验研究一个非常好的选材。此外,PbBr2晶体还是一种典型的卤化物功能晶体,空间生长实验规律也可借鉴到其他卤化物晶体材料的研究,如激光晶体YLiF4,LiSrA1F6等。虽然国外已开展了PbBr2晶体的微重力实验,但实验次数很少,还有很多科学问题没有得到解决,比如Agar在PbBr2晶体中的作用、空间生长对声光性能的影响等。我国空间材料科学,特别是晶体生长正在向实时观察方向发展。而溴化铅超低的熔点、透明熔体以及石英坩埚为空间实时观察研究提供了可操作性。因此,采用空间生长技术来研究PbBr2晶体生长具有重要的科学意义。
