Calcineurin (Cn) is the only known Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent serine/threonine proteinphosphatase; it is a heterodimer composed of a 61 kDa catalytic subunit (CnA) and a 19kDa regulatory subunit (CnB).

Calcineurin (Cn) is the only known Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent serine/threonine proteinphosphatase; it is a heterodimer composed of a 61 kDa catalytic subunit (CnA) and a 19kDa regulatory subunit (CnB).The calcineurin (CN) subunit B (CNB) is the regulatorysubunit of CN.Our research revealed CNB had its own roles except the regulatory subunitof CN.
