Plans for large-scale bioenergy development in the United States rely on feedstock and infrastructure availability for conversion of biomass to fuels and electncity.Although estimates have been made of total sustainable feedstock supply[1], detailed analyses are yet to be completed assessing overall system design to achieve national biofuel and other bioenergy mandates and targets.
