Objective: The study aimed to assess the efficacy of postauricular injection and intratympanic injection of methylprednisolone as salvage therapy for the flat type of sudden hearing loss.Methods: A total of 61 cases of flat type of sudden hearing loss who did not respond to systematic Glucocorticoids therapy were included in this study and divided into three groups by using the randomized single-blind method.The Control group was only given conventional treatment such as reducing fibrinogen, improving microcirculation and neurotrophic factor therapy.On the basis of the above conventional treatment, the post-auricular group was injected methylprednisolone sodium succinate 20 mg qod.for 3 times, and the intratympanic group was injected methylprednisolone odium succinate 20mg qod.for 3 times.
