Objective: to evaluate the outcome of presurgical orthopedic treatment in patients with nonsyndromic cleft lip and palate (CLP) prior to labioplasty.Methods: A prospective study in cleft lip and palate center, HarapanKita Children and Mother Hospital from October 2013 to March 2014.Forty seven newborn of total 95 outpatients were taken the maxillary impression, measurement of weight, length, and head circumference at the first visit and follow up every month.Twentythree CLP patients following the treatment protocol for labioplasty at 3-4 months of age.To parents conducted interviews and questionnaires to see the level of satisfaction regarding the presurgical orthopedics treatment.
